YOTA ANNOUNCES PHONE WITH E-INK AND LCD

The new phone announced by yota will have both E ink and lcd ,the E-ink feature will help to save the battery by showing notifications in a separate screen with a pixel density of 200 ppi.

SPECIFICATIONS

• It is 10mm thick and weighs only 140 gms.The thickness increase is due to the presence of two screens.
• 4.3 inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280.
• It has a Dual core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz,2 gigs of RAM and it will have a memory of about 32 /64 Gb.
• It also has a 12 Mp shooter with front facing camera which can shoot videos at 720p.
• The phone is powered by a 2100 mAh battery.

Though the second screen isn't useful for watching video ,it sufficient to view facebook,weather data and other apps.

The major drawbacks are that the risk of damage is twice that of the other phones and its expected price of $500 is simply not worth it for such a low spec phone.
