iPad 3 and iPhone 5

The US retail giant Walmart is putting forth some competitive prices to lure Apple fans away from other retailers, including Apple’s own shops, by selling subsidized iPhone 5s at considerable discounts. Customers walking into the stores will be able to purchase the newest Apple iPhone for as little as $129 and the third-generation iPad for $399 (or $100 off) at Walmart. Note that the offer is only available in stores and not online.

This iPhone is with a two-year contract with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, but the iPad is free of any carrier subsidies. It is worth note that even with the $129 price, Apple’s iPhone 5 is still cheaper unlocked (at $649). Doing away with the two-year carrier contract will still save you more money in the long run.

Security
Computer Security
TeamViewer uses RSA private/public key exchange (1024-bit) and AES (256-bit) session encoding. In the default configuration, TeamViewer uses one of the servers of TeamViewer.com to start the connection and the routing of traffic between the local client and the remote host machine. The software then determines how to establish a connection. In 70% of the cases after the handshake a direct connection via UDP or TCP is established, the other connections are routed through TeamViewer GmbH's router network (via TCP or http-tunneling).The key exchange also guarantees a full client-to-client data protection. This means that even our routing servers will not be able to read the data stream.
Access Protection
In addition to the Partner ID TeamViewer generates a session password that changes with every software start to provide additional security against unauthorized access to a remote system. Security relevant functions like file transfer require additional, manual confirmation of the remote partner. Also it is not possible to invisibly control a computer. For data protection reasons the person sitting on the remote computer has to be able to detect when someone is accessing the machine.  Even the Quick Support Custom Design tools are dynamically signed during generation!
I will Recommend This Software Because You Will Be Getting Big Benefit  and too This Is a Freeware Software Happy Connection....!!!

Google Maps for iPhone®.
Google maps made a triumphant return to the iPhone, delighting both users and critics who had frankly got tired of even lampooning the much lampooned Apple maps.

In an indication of iPhone owners’ exasperation with Apple’s maps, Google’s app was already the top-ranking free app in Apple’s iTunes store early Thursday morning, reported the Associated Press. By 1700 GMT, users had chimed in with more than 10,000 reviews of the Google app. Nearly 90 percent of them gave Google maps a five-star rating — the highest possible grade.

This image made available by Google, shows the new Google Maps application, on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012: AP
And the critics are not too far behind in their praise either. The official (and lengthy) CNet review titled, “The king of maps is back and better than ever” doesn’t hold back in its praise of the new app saying, “With its iOS Maps app, Google sets the standard for what mobile navigation should be and more.”

The PC Mag review said, “Overall, the Google Maps experience on the iPhone is very ‘fly’”, adding that in their opinion it was even better than the maps app for Android.

USA Today said, “The reemergence in the middle of the night of a Google Maps app for the iPhone is like the return of an old friend. Only your friend, who’d gone missing for three months, comes back looking better than ever.”

Google’s mapping app for the iPhone doesn’t include ads, but that will likely change, based on the steady stream of marketing flowing through the Google maps app on Android phones.

The additional tools in the free iPhone app include turn-by-turn directions. Google’s previous refusal to include that popular feature on the iPhone app —while making it available for smartphones running on its own Android software— is believed to be one of the reasons Apple decided to develop its own technology. The increasing friction between Google and Apple as they jostle for leadership in the smartphone market also played a role in the mapping switch.

“We started from scratch,” said Daniel Graf, mobile director of Google Maps. Google engineers started working on the new app before Apple’s 19 September ouster, Graf said, though he declined to be more specific.

Google’s new iPhone mapping app also offers street-level photography of local neighborhoods, as well as three-dimensional views, public transit directions and listings for more than 80 million businesses around the world. The app still lacks some of the mapping features available on Android-powered phones, such as directions inside malls and other buildings.

“The irony is that Apple ended up getting a better version of Google Maps on its system by booting it off,” said Greg Sterling, an analyst at Opus Research. “At the same time, you could argue that Google is making a triumphant return to cheering crowds. So, in a way, everyone wins in this situation.”

The return of Google’s map app may even encourage more iPhone owners to upgrade to Apple’s latest mobile software, iOS 6. Some people resisted the new version because they didn’t want to lose access to the old Google mapping application built into iOS 5 and earlier versions.

Despite the app’s quickly rising popularity, Google’s solution still wasn’t listed among the 18 recommended mapping apps in iTunes as of early Thursday afternoon.

The new phone announced by yota will have both E ink and lcd ,the E-ink feature will help to save the battery by showing notifications in a separate screen with a pixel density of 200 ppi.

Yota  E-ink Phone

  • 4.3 inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280.
  • It has a Dual core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz,2 gigs of RAM and it will have a memory of about 32 /64 Gb.

LONDON: British judges say Apple needs to apologize once more for falsely claiming that South Korea's Samsung copied its iPad, the latest embarrassing episode in the tech rivals' world-spanning patent battle.

Apple Inc. was ordered to print an apology on its website after British judges repeatedly rejected its claim that Samsung Electronics Co. ripped off its designs when creating its own tablet computer, the Galaxy Tab.

Apple did post an apology, but judges at London's high court ruled on Thursday that it didn't go far enough and ordered a new one posted to its site within 48 hours.

Samsung and Apple are locked in a series of international lawsuits over alleged copyright violations, including a California case which saddled Samsung with a $1 billion fine for copying Apple's design.

The BlackBerry was once proudly carried by the high-powered and the elite, but those who still hold one today say the device has become a magnet for mockery and derision from those with iPhones and the latest Android phones.

Research in Motion may still be successful selling BlackBerrys in countries like India and Indonesia, but in the United States the company is clinging to less than 5 percent of the smartphone market - down from a dominating 50 percent just three years ago.

The company's future all depends on a much-delayed new phone coming next year; meanwhile the company recorded a net loss of $753 million in the first half of the year compared with a profit of more than $1 billion a year earlier.

Among the latest signs of the loss of cachet: One of the first steps Marissa Mayer took as Yahoo's newly appointed chief executive to remake the company's stodgy image was to trade in employees' BlackBerrys for iPhones and Androids. BlackBerrys may still linger in Washington, Wall Street and the legal profession, but in Silicon Valley they are as rare as a necktie.

As the list shrinks of friends who once regularly communicated using BlackBerry's private messaging service, called BBM, many a BlackBerry owner will not mince words about how they feel about their phone.

"I want to take a bat to it," Crosby said, after waiting for her phone's browser to load for the third minute, only to watch the battery die. "You can't do anything with it. You're supposed to, but it's all a big lie."

The cultural divide between BlackBerry loyalists and everyone else has only grown more extreme over the last year as companies that previously issued employees BlackBerrys - and only BlackBerrys - have started surrendering to employee demands for iPhones and Android-powered smartphones.

Goldman Sachs recently gave its employees the option to use an iPhone. Covington & Burling, a major law firm, did the same at the urging of associates. Even the White House, which used the BlackBerry for security reasons, recently started supporting the iPhone. (Some staff members suspect that decision was influenced by President Barack Obama, who now prefers his iPad for national security briefings. A spokesman for the White House declined to comment.)

Out in the world, the insults continue. Victoria Gossage, a 28-year-old hedge fund marketer, said she recently attended a work retreat at Piping Rock Club, an upscale country club in Locust Valley, NY, and asked the concierge for a phone charger. "First he said, 'Sure.' Then he saw my phone and - in this disgusted tone - said, 'Oh no, no, not for that'."

"You get used to that kind of rejection," she said.

"BlackBerry users are like Myspace users," sneers Craig Robert Smith, a Los Angeles musician. "They probably still chat on AOL Instant Messenger."

BlackBerry outcasts say that, increasingly, they suffer from shame and public humiliation as they watch their counterparts mingle on social networking apps that are not available to them, take higher-resolution photos, and effortlessly navigate streets - and the internet - with better GPS and faster browsing.

More indignity comes in having to outsource tasks like getting directions, booking travel, making restaurant reservations and looking up sports scores to their exasperated iPhone and Android-carting partners, friends and colleagues.

"I feel absolutely helpless," Gossage said. "You're constantly watching people do all these things on their phones and all I have going for me is my family's group BBM chats."

Ryan Hutto, a director at a San Francisco health information company, said he frequently depended on others, often his wife, for music playlists, navigation and sports scores. "After two or three questions, people start to get irritated," Hutto said.

His wife, Shannon, says with a sigh: "Anytime we go anywhere, I always have to pull up the map. If we're searching for a restaurant, I pull up the Yelp app. If we need a reservation, I pull up OpenTable. I kind of feel like his personal assistant."

Still, a few BlackBerry users say they're sticking with the device, mainly because of the BlackBerry's efficient, physical keyboard. "I use my BlackBerry by choice," said Lance Fenton, a 32-year-old investor who frequently travels and needs to send emails from the road. "I can't type emails on touchscreen phones."

Fenton said he could not wrap his head around iPhone fever. "I constantly ask people, 'What is so great about it?' and they have these nonsensical answers," he said. "Someone told me I'm missing out on some app that maps their ski runs. I ski four days a year. On the road, I don't need a ski app."

RIM's most recent efforts to hold on to loyal customers, as well as software developers building apps for its next generation of phones scheduled to be available next year, have elicited universal cringes.

In a recent promotional video, Alec Saunders, RIM's vice president for developer relations, is shown belting out a rock song titled "Devs, BlackBerry Is Going to Keep on Loving You," a riff on the 1981 power ballad by REO Speedwagon "Keep on Loving You."

"This is the sign of a desperate company," said Nick Mindel, a 26-year-old investment analyst. "Come on, BlackBerry, I always had some faith, but you just lost a customer. Frankly, I don't think they can afford to lose many more."

After eight years with a BlackBerry, Mindel said he just joined the wait list for the iPhone 5. When it arrives, he said, "I'm considering removing my BlackBerry battery, pouring in cement, and using the BlackBerry as an actual paperweight."

SAN FRANCISCO: Android software powered three out of four smartphones shipped worldwide in the recently ended third quarter as the Google-backed mobile platform dominated the market, industry tracker IDC said on Thursday.
Android smartphones shipments surged to 136 million, topping those in the same three-month period last year by slightly more than 90 percent, according to an IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report.

The Android share of the market climbed to 75 percent from 57.5 percent in a year-over-year comparison. A total of 181.1 million smartphones were shipped in the third quarter of this year, according to IDC.

"Android has been one of the primary growth engines of the smartphone market since it was launched in 2008," said IDC mobile phones research manager Ramon Llamas.

"In every year since then, Android has effectively outpaced the market and taken market share from the competition."

Shipments of iPhones rose nearly 14 percent to 26.9 million in the quarter giving Apple a slightly improved 14.9 percent share of the market as the overall market grew 46.4 percent, according to IDC.

Smartphones powered by Microsoft Windows software also gained ground in the quarter, with their share of the market growing to two percent.

Microsoft this week unveiled innovative new Windows Phone 8 handsets along with a growing library of applications, music, services and more.

BlackBerry and Symbian smartphones meanwhile saw their shares of the market slide.

"The share decline of smartphone operating systems not named iOS since Android's introduction isn't a coincidence," said IDC senior research analyst Kevin Restivo.

"The smartphone operating system isn't an isolated product, it's a crucial part of a larger technology ecosystem," he continued. "Google has a thriving, multi-faceted product portfolio."

The availability of desirable "apps" and digital content such as music, films, and games is considered crucial to the success of smartphones.
